Leveraging our deep-seated knowledge and extensive experience, we successfully orchestrate CPQ projects with precision and expertise.
What we do
We realize projects that improve the sales process with software. We have two pillars: analysis and implementation.
IT projects are essential and touch the core of every business. A successful project accelerates further growth, but if it fails it becomes a burden. IT projects can quickly become very complex, requiring a lot of knowledge and substantive experience to stay "in control".
In practice, companies are heavily dependent on a single software supplier. Often, there is little knowledge, experience, or time available to steer a project from the customer's perspective. This frequently leads to the following problems:
-
There are many different CPQ software products. Insufficient consideration of software selection leads to unnecessarily complex and expensive solutions, or to solutions that are insufficiently scalable for the future.
-
If the software requirements are not clearly defined, this can lead to solutions that do not fit the needs. This then needs to be addressed with ad-hoc adjustments. This leads to delays, extra costs, or a final product that does not meet expectations. The project quickly becomes unmanageable.
-
A project often turns out to be more complex than initially thought over time. As a result, the scope changes, causing it to take longer and exceed the budget.
We, Renko Steenbeek and Wouter Kremer, want to help with this. Together, we have over ten years of experience optimizing sales processes using CPQ software (configure, price, quote). We use our expertise to guide the project from A to Z. We start with a thorough analysis in which we get a clear picture of the exact wishes and target architecture. We proceed with the software selection to ensure that the appropriate products and stakeholders are integrated into the project. During the implementation of the software (realization phase), we take on the project management: We do everything in our power to successfully realize the project within the parameters of time, money, and quality.
In different phases of the project, we can take on the following roles:
Business Analyst
System Architect
Project Manager
Product Owner
Agile Coach
We steer your business along the path of digital transformation, from the initial strategic analysis all the way through to a successful implementation of the optimal solution. Our approach revitalizes your sales process, making it more streamlined, productive, and effective than ever before.
Project phases
Phase 1: The analysis
In this phase, we invest time and energy in thoroughly understanding your business, your current processes, and systems. We delve deeply into the details of both the 'input' and the 'output' of your process. We study the possible product configurations, price options, and discount structures. We also look at how your business currently manages these and identify the sources of errors or delays. On the output side, we investigate the specific requirements for generating, for example, quote documents and integrating data with your existing CRM or ERP systems.
Our goal in this phase is to gain a comprehensive and detailed understanding of your process, so we can precisely determine what your business needs. This way, you start the process with an extensive analysis of how best to structure data and what functional wishes there are, and you are not immediately pushed in the direction of a solution. At the end of this analysis phase, we have all the information necessary to draft a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP), Functional Designs (FO), and Requirements Document. Based on these results, we together search for the most suitable CPQ solution that aligns with your specific needs and processes.
Which roles do we take on?
Business Analyst
System Architect
Result analysis phase
The wishes have been concretized. We have a clear picture of the requirements, wishes, and challenges.
We have an initial sketch of the intended solution.
The framework of the technical target architecture has been determined.
Phase 2: Software Selection & Architecture
After we have a detailed picture of your needs and requirements, based on the comprehensive analysis from step one, we guide you in selecting the right CPQ software. We work independently and objectively, and advise you about the different CPQ solutions that best align with your unique needs, and add the most value to your business. Not only now, but also as you maintain it in the future.
But selecting the right software is only half the work. The other essential part of this step is designing the right architecture. We understand that the way the tool is integrated into your existing systems is just as important as the tool itself. Therefore, we draw up a detailed architectural plan that describes how the selected solution can best be embedded in your IT landscape.
In this phase, we ensure a seamless harmonization between the software and your business processes, while setting up a solid and efficient architecture for a smooth implementation and maximum value of your new solution.
Our roles:
Project Manager
System Architect
Result of Software Selection & Architecture
The necessary software components and/or parties have been identified.
The target architecture has been defined.
There is a concrete project plan for the realization phase.
Phase 3: Realisation phase
After the careful selection of the right software and the creation of the optimal architecture, it's time to implement them.
During project execution, we take on the role of project management on behalf of the client. Thanks to our many years of experience and deep knowledge of sales processes, we are able to provide substantial steering of the project. We ensure that the solution's implementation aligns with the set objectives.
We guide the entire process, from technical installation to training your team, and we ensure that the transition to the new tool goes as smoothly as possible.
Our end goal in this phase is to deliver a successful project within the set parameters. That is, a seamlessly integrated solution that meets the established requirements and truly contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of your sales process."
Our roles:
Project manager
Product Owner
Agile coach
Result realisation phase
A successfully delivered project that meets the needs of the organization.
The project is realized within the set time frame and financial parameters.
There are concrete plans for sustainable maintenance of the systems, and for further development of the solution.
